Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address the respiratory needs of patients.
  • Implement a range of respiratory therapies, including oxygen weaning, aerosol therapy, and incentive spirometry, to promote patient recovery and independence.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on respiratory management and disease prevention.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a COARC-accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
  • Licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
  • Licensed in the state in which practicing and BLS certification.
