Job Summary

Gibbs Oil Company LP is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative and Retail Sales Associate. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Ensure every customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, greeting and acknowledging customers, and maintaining outstanding standards of product knowledge and customer service.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately and efficiently complete sales transactions, maintain proper accountability at the cash register, and handle customer payments.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and customer-friendly store environment by performing regular cleaning activities, including cleaning floors, glass doors, counter surfaces, and restrooms, emptying trash cans, and rotating and straightening merchandise.
  • Inventory Management: Replenish products and supplies to ensure product availability and maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information, merchandise promotions, and advertisements.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact with customers to provide information and assistance in response to inquiries about products and services.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, management, and colleagues.
  • Physical Demands: Comfort with standing for extended periods of time and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced work environment.
