Job Title: Senior Repair Station Manager

Collins Aerospace, a subsidiary of Raytheon Technologies, is a global leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the aerospace and defense industries. We are seeking an experienced Senior Repair Station Manager to lead our Repair Station operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of the Repair Station, including operations, engineering, planning, quality, and EHS functions.
  • Guide production processes, including shop floor management, workforce optimization, and flow disruption management, ensuring effective maintenance and scheduling.
  • Provide coaching and development to the leadership team and direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Prioritize and champion a strong safety culture throughout the organization, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Analyze and report on key site metrics, taking action to address any gaps to established goals.
  • Manage corrective actions related to quality and compliance, ensuring adherence to established quality standards.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at reducing costs and improving operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the scheduling team to optimize shop efficiency, work-in-progress (WIP) management, and inventory reduction.
  • Manage work sequencing and delivery processes to maximize resource utilization.
  • Address materials and logistics challenges to ensure smooth operations and availability of necessary resources.
  • Partner with customers to understand their needs and ensure expectations are consistently met.
  • Encourage production innovation, including the adoption of additive manufacturing technologies.
  • Leverage digital tools for real-time data analysis to inform decision-making and drive daily operational needs.
Qualifications:
  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in aerospace and/or repair station operations.
  • Background in Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence methodologies.
  • Prior operations management or site leadership experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory practices, production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing techniques.
