WSP is in search of a Senior Civil Engineering Consultant to become a vital part of their Northeast Transportation Civil Team. This position is focused on delivering expert guidance and technical support for infrastructure initiatives across both public and private sectors, encompassing the design, planning, and execution of various facilities. The successful candidate will oversee a design team, collaborate with other engineering disciplines, and foster strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a Civil/Highway design team
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines such as structures, hydraulics, traffic, and utilities
  • Draft technical documentation and presentations
  • Uphold workplace safety and quality assurance standards
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 7+ years of relevant design experience
  • Connecticut PE license or eligibility to obtain within 6 months
  • Experience with Connecticut Department of Transportation and Rail Projects
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices
