We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Therapists - Autism Specialists to join our team of experienced professionals. As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centered treatment to our clients and their families.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid holidays, vacation days, and sick leave.
Job Description
As a Clinical Therapist - Autism Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to children under the clinical supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, behavior plans, and other clinical instructions to deliver quality therapeutic services to each child and family
- Collaborating with BCBAs, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Communicating effectively with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in a human services-related field or 60 credits towards a Bachelor's degree
- 1-2 years of full-time equivalent experience providing ASD treatment services to children
- Safety Care Training certification
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Reliable means of transportation and a valid state driver's license (if applicable)
Physical Demands
This role requires:
- Full physical dexterity/agility to perform all movements required, including bending, kneeling, computer typing, standing, and fetching documents from file cabinets
- Sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities
- The ability to lift and carry pediatric populations (weight ranging from 5 to 50 lbs.)
Mental Demands
You will need to:
- Respond effectively to varied demands of the child, family, supervisor, and other team members
- Multitask and take descriptive and accurate documentation
- Use strategy and make quick intelligent decisions
- Respond effectively in emergency situations with the student that may occur at home, at school, or out in the community
