Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Clinical Therapist to join our team at UC Health. As a key member of our care management department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of psychiatric patients in consultation with emergency department personnel, providing recommendations for disposition.
  • Operate as an independently licensed behavioral health clinician, developing and implementing safe and clinically appropriate disposition recommendations.
  • Serve as a primary communication liaison between clients, family members, emergency department staff, physicians, and community providers.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate clinical and ethical professionalism, conflict resolution, and critical thinking.
Requirements
  • Competence with DSM diagnostic criteria and treatment planning.
  • Competence in evidenced-based suicide risk assessments and safety planning.
