Senior Engineering Technician

At Macom Technology Solutions Holdings, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Technician to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in the development and production of our cutting-edge semiconductor products.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-speed electrical assembly processes for die-level components operating at frequencies up to 110 GHz.
  • Organize and manage engineering component inventory for prototype builds, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of assembly processes, including engineering notes and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement initial production assembly documentation for new products.
  • Troubleshoot build issues with released products in manufacturing, utilizing technical expertise to resolve complex problems.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Macom's production parts theory-of-operation and manufacturing processes.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, assuming ownership for assigned tasks and projects.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in an electronic assembly technical role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Associated degree (or equivalent) in a related technical field and 5+ years' experience in an electronic assembly technical role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field and 2+ years' experience in an electronic assembly technical role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fluent skills in Microsoft Office and Autocad/Drafting experience a plus.
