As a Business Intelligence Engineer at Amazon, you will play a key role in helping us make data-driven decisions that drive business growth. With a strong background in data analysis and visualization, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain complex data models, create interactive dashboards, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Your primary responsibilities will include engaging with leadership and customer groups to understand their needs and recommending business intelligence solutions, partnering with the Data Engineering team to define data elements and structures, designing and implementing platforms for ad-hoc access to large datasets, and interfacing with business customers to gather requirements and deliver complete reporting solutions.

To succeed in this role, you will need 3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data, as well as experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines. You will also be proficient in statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab, and have experience using SQL to pull data from databases or data warehouses and scripting experience in Python to process data for modeling.

We offer a highly competitive salary of $153,400 per year, which reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Our total compensation package includes equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
