Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Aureus Medical Group. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing complex and specialized procedures using state-of-the-art computerized MRI diagnostic imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, including complex MRI exams, utilizing computerized MRI diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • Demonstrate competency with respect to MRI exams, procedures, and the use of pressurized injection equipment.
  • Assist radiologists in invasive and biopsy-type procedures using MRI equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
  • Program the computer to ensure completion of exams and store scan data correctly on PACS for future reference.
  • Coordinate and prioritize procedures during the workday to maintain high patient care and continuity.
  • Ensure all charges are correctly coded and entered in the billing system.
  • Demonstrate and maintain competence with all age-specific groups to ensure proper completion of studies.
  • Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and/or care methods to accommodate unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific, and other developmental needs of each patient served.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards as promulgated by State and Federal agencies, the hospital, and other regulatory entities.
Requirements
  • Graduate of AMA-approved School of Radiological Sciences or other accepted and approved equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in a clinical imaging setting is highly preferred.
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification from ARRT or ARMRIT required.
  • Current state licensure required.
  • BLS required.
