Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Patient Care: Deliver competent and compassionate nursing care to patients and families under the direct guidance and supervision of a physician and Nurse Manager.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work with physicians and other staff members to ensure a quality-based, customer-oriented flow of work throughout the ambulatory practice.
  • Support Patient Education: Educate patients about proper use of medications, wound care, and other health-related topics.
  • Administer Medications: Administer medications within parameters defined by the healthcare organization after successful orientation.
  • Photography and Documentation: Photograph patients with various skin conditions using a variety of photographic procedures, techniques, and equipment.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in Quality Assurance activities and support peers and colleagues in maintaining established standards of care.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Utilize effective interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of an approved LPN program.
  • Experience: 2 years of LPN experience preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse required, BLS/CPR certification required.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Interpersonal and Organizational Skills: Good interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to work with detailed, confidential material, and computer experience required.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Effective communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work with precision under pressure.
