Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Travel Management Specialist to join our team at ADTRAV Travel Management. As a leading provider of corporate, government, and vacation travel programs, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment that allows you to grow and develop your skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of travel management for our clients, including booking domestic and international airline itineraries, hotel reservations, and car rentals through a GDS system. You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with clients, and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) as outlined by management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and car rentals.
  • Utilize Sabre to book and issue airline, hotel, car, and other reservations accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain sufficient account knowledge to assist clients without delay.
  • Check queues daily to ensure accuracy and that all issued tickets are complete.
  • Provide travel expertise to clients, including advice on destination selection, mode of transportation, and travel dates.
  • Meet KPIs as outlined by management, including productivity, transactions, and attendance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, airlines, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and provide updates.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in travel management, preferably with a GDS system such as Sabre.
  • Highly knowledgeable of city, airline, hotel, and car rental codes.
  • Understanding of federal travel regulations, Fly America Act, and Open Skies Agreement.
  • Strong computer and typing skills, including ability to navigate quickly between programs and using shortcut keys.
  • Ability to consistently deliver excellent customer service, internally and externally.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent listening skills, able to listen to and respond to client needs and clarify as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of company and client information.
  • Able to work a schedule that falls between Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm CT. Able to work some weekends as needed.
  • Able to successfully pass a credit, criminal, and/or employment reference background check.
