Harrison County Hospital is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform skin punctures to obtain blood specimens for laboratory testing
- Process test requisitions, charge, register, and order tests for outpatients
- Distribute and file test results and physician orders
- Communicate with patients, physicians, and nursing units as needed
- Maintain neat and organized collection trays, collection areas, and work areas
- High school graduate with on-the-job training in a clinical laboratory
- One year experience preferred
