Job Description

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a 13-week contract in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and coils on the table to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Inject contrast media as required and set technical parameters for optimal image quality.
  • Monitor image data on computer monitors during scans and recognize abnormal images.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines for MRI procedures.
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
