NDT Assistant

Job Title: NDT Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented NDT Assistant to join our team at TEAM Industrial Services. As an NDT Assistant, you will assist experienced technicians in performing inspections using various NDT techniques to detect corrosion, defects, and other detrimental conditions.

Responsibilities:

* Assist technicians in performing NDT inspections and calibrating instruments
* Study and gain NDT certifications while assisting and learning hands-on experience in various NDT methods
* Perform duties as assigned by the technician or Sr. Technician on the worksite
* Maintain a safe and healthy environment by adhering to safety standards and practices

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Basic math skills and ability to work with computers and computerized equipment
* Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English
* Travel requirement: 0-75%

Work Conditions:

* Position is based out of a branch or site location
* Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere
* Interaction with other crew employees, supervisors, and client personnel

Physical and Mental Requirements:

* Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds
* Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities
* Sufficient vision or other powers of observation
* Sufficient manual dexterity and personal mobility
