Key Responsibilities:
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning bathrooms, living areas, and kitchens, including dusting, mopping, and laundry.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals, including cooking and baking.
- Engage in meaningful conversation and companionship with clients.
- Implement Interactive Caregiving techniques to promote physical and mental well-being.
- Assist with errands and provide transportation as needed.
- Support clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Provide hands-on personal care, including assistance with dressing, grooming, hygiene, and incontinence care.
- Facilitate mobility assistance using appropriate transfer tools and equipment.
- Help manage medication schedules.
- Offer specialized care for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's.
- Provide compassionate end-of-life care.
- Maintain communication with the Client Care Coordinator as necessary.
- Document care provided and shifts accurately using electronic systems.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Reliable transportation and a personal vehicle are required for daily tasks.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
- Proof of Auto Insurance with your name as an authorized driver.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Successful completion of state and federal background checks and fingerprinting.
- Ability to assist both male and female clients with personal care needs.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
- Demonstrated excellent attendance and job retention in previous work history.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Positive references and a compassionate demeanor are essential.
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
