Job Summary

This is a part-time, day shift position with variable 8-, 10- or 12-hour shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in the care of patients before, during and after Endoscopy procedures with moderate sedation or anesthesia. A strong background in procedural nursing and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support during Endoscopy procedures
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • BSN Required
  • BLS/ACLS Certification
  • Excellent IV insertion skills
  • Prior Gastroenterology Nursing Experience strongly preferred
  • Prior Procedural Nursing Experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong critical thinking/analytical/priority setting skills
  • Ability to adhere to the ICARE standards
