Job Overview

Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities
As a Cytotechnologist at Bristol Hospital Inc., your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Evaluating microscopic slides of GYN and Non-GYN specimens to identify abnormal cells and organisms
  • Providing clear and accurate reports/diagnosis on each case examined
  • Entering results into the computer system correctly
  • Assisting with FNA procedures in radiology as needed
  • Processing GYN and Non-GYN specimens as required
  • Participating in continuing education and proficiency testing

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree from a program accredited by NAACLS or CAAHEP and hold CT(ASCP) certification. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
