Job Title: Middle School Intervention Specialist
Reports To: Assistant Superintendent of Academics
Job Summary: The middle school intervention specialist provides effective instruction to assigned students in a small group setting. The specialist plans and delivers intervention programs, monitors student progress, and adjusts instruction as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and Deliver Intervention Instruction: Learn and implement various intervention programs to support students' academic success.
- Monitor Progress and Adjust Instruction: Use data to inform instruction and make adjustments as needed.
- Match Instructional Materials: Select materials and strategies based on student needs and data analysis.
- Perform Other Duties: Complete other instructional tasks assigned by the principal or designee.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: Required.
- Direct Experience: Working with children is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual: English and Spanish are preferred.
- Self-Motivated: A self-motivated individual is ideal.
Performance Evaluation: Annually by the principal/director or designee.
Salary: $32.00 per hour, 25 hours per week.
