Reports To: Assistant Superintendent of Academics

Job Summary: The middle school intervention specialist provides effective instruction to assigned students in a small group setting. The specialist plans and delivers intervention programs, monitors student progress, and adjusts instruction as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Deliver Intervention Instruction: Learn and implement various intervention programs to support students' academic success.
  • Monitor Progress and Adjust Instruction: Use data to inform instruction and make adjustments as needed.
  • Match Instructional Materials: Select materials and strategies based on student needs and data analysis.
  • Perform Other Duties: Complete other instructional tasks assigned by the principal or designee.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Required.
  • Direct Experience: Working with children is necessary.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual: English and Spanish are preferred.
  • Self-Motivated: A self-motivated individual is ideal.


Performance Evaluation: Annually by the principal/director or designee.

Salary: $32.00 per hour, 25 hours per week.
