Join Our Team as a Cyber Operations Engineer

As a Cyber Operations Engineer, you'll play a critical role in supporting the development and integration of our nation's nuclear and electromagnetic spectrum capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cyber strategy development and cyber operations to assess overall mission level impact.
  • Work closely with our team of experienced engineers at the MITRE Omaha location and other mission partners across MITRE.
  • Collaborate with engineers and planners, subject matter experts, specialists, and industry professionals to leverage MITRE technical expertise.
  • Engage with military and civilian leaders and engineers, as well as industry representatives, to present results in an intuitive, actionable manner.

Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree with relevant experience.
  • Strong cyber security background and experience with network engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic and multi-disciplinary environments.
  • Must be able to work in a collaborative environment and adjust to changing deadlines and priorities.
  • Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical domain, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or similar field) with 5 years of experience.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Some RF engineering experience, some Digital Forensic experience, and some Machine Learning experience.
  • Proven ability to provide objective solutions and recommendations to address customer challenges.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; effective technical presentation skills.
