Adjunct Professor of English and Literature

Kilgore College is seeking a part-time Adjunct Professor of English and Literature to join our Language Development department.
This position involves teaching one or more English courses during daytime hours, as well as utilizing instructional technology in the classroom.
The successful candidate will teach and supervise all learning experiences, evaluate student performance, and demonstrate a mastery of the English language.
We are looking for an individual with a commitment to excellence in teaching at the community college level, a master's degree or higher with a minimum of eighteen graduate hours in English, and preferably college teaching experience.
Estimated Salary: $2,000 per 3-hour course for a doctorate- Salary range based on level of education

Please note that Kilgore College does not participate in the federal Social Security program. As a result, employees/retirees of the college are subject to the federal Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and possibly the Government Pension Offset (GPO) laws.
