As an Event Supervisor with InsideHigherEd, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of campus recreation events. Your primary responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service, enforcing policies, and maintaining facility cleanliness. You will be trained to respond to emergencies and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position is also eligible for Federal Work-Study.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service and support to event attendees
  • Enforce policies and procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience
  • Maintain facility cleanliness and organization
  • Respond to emergencies and provide support as needed
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve event goals

Requirements:

  • CPR/AED/First Aid certifications required
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and walk for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work a variable schedule, including recurring 2-4 hour shifts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Campus recreation or event management experience
  • Knowledge of emergency response procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
