Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced and motivated Insulation Installers to join our team. As an Insulation Installer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the thermal performance of our clients' buildings. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with our team to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines.

Responsibilities:
  • Install various types of insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings, ensuring a proper and effective installation.
  • Load and log materials onto the truck and make notation of returned materials per each job order.
  • Erect scaffolding or ladders to the height needed to install insulation, and operate aerial lifts as required.
  • Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific spaces, ensuring a precise fit.
  • Attach insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring, and nailing, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Operate equipment that injects loose fill insulation or foamed insulation, maintaining a secure work environment.
  • Work with the installation team to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines, ensuring quality workmanship.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment, and maintain tools and truck housekeeping and maintenance.
  • Complete time card daily and ensure it is submitted on time, and may be required to drive a company vehicle, following all driving safety rules and DOT requirements.
  • Complete paperwork per each job and return it to production coordinator daily, providing excellent customer service and addressing client questions or concerns professionally.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure quality workmanship, and maintain a valid Driver License.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as an insulation installer is preferred but not required, with training provided.
  • Maintain a valid Driver License, and ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces, and elevated surfaces.
  • Able to work at heights up to 45ft, and experience in the Construction Industry is a plus.
  • Able to climb up and down a ladder, scaffolds, and work within the framing of the building, and perform basic math skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to work independently or with a crew.
  • Able to climb into, operate, and work in an aerial lift, and strong attention to detail and precision in measuring and cutting insulation materials.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team, and basic understanding of safety procedures and the importance of workplace safety.
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to use common hand tools, including scissors, utility knife, saws, pliers, and stapling hammer, drills, poly guns.
  • Must be able to read job instructions and record materials used per each work/job order, and work in tight places, including attics and crawlspaces.
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 100lbs, and climb ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.
  • Must be able to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, knees to install insulation, and stand for extended periods of time.
