Job Summary:

The eTeam is seeking a highly skilled Health Economics and Outcomes Research Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Outcomes Research group, you will be responsible for designing and delivering internal research projects and insights. Your expertise in health economics and outcomes research will enable us to make informed decisions and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop protocols and Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) based on study concepts, ensuring appropriateness of study design, sample size, and statistical methodologies.
  2. Develop and implement rigorous quality control processes and programming templates to ensure data quality and analysis.
  3. Conduct statistical analyses to generate tables, listings, and figures for publications, presentations, and internal purposes.
  4. Meet timelines with minimal supervision, possessing excellent verbal and written skills.
  5. Translate statistical information into actionable insights.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a Master's degree in Health Economics, Biostatistics, Health Services Research, Public Health, Epidemiology, Pharmacy Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in SAS programming and 2 years of hands-on work experience with real-world studies using large claims/EMR databases in HEOR.
  • Strong programming skills in SAS/R and data analysis.
  • Extensive experience with large US insurance claims databases, electronic medical records, and registry databases for health outcomes research.
  • Familiarity with cloud and high-performance computing environments (Azure, AWS).
Preferred Qualifications:

A PhD, DrPH, or PharmD is desirable. Experience with Ex-US healthcare databases, such as the THIN database, is a plus. Familiarity with medical and billing coding systems, such as ICD-10, SNOMED, LOINC, NDC, HCPCS, and CPT, is also beneficial.
