Technical Translator

We're seeking a skilled Technical Translator to assist our engineering team in creating detailed operating manuals for advanced filtration and solution mixing equipment used in the production of IV saline solution bags. This role is essential in ensuring smooth communication between our U.S. and Chinese engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate complex technical documents, manuals, and instructions from Mandarin to English with precision.
• Work directly with the Chinese engineering team to accurately describe equipment functions and translate these details into operational guides.
• Collaborate with engineers and technical writers to ensure translated materials meet quality standards.
• Provide real-time translation support during team meetings and discussions as needed.
• Ensure all translations are clear, concise, and tailored for use by non-native Mandarin speakers.

Requirements:

• Fluency in Mandarin and English with strong technical translation skills, especially in engineering or manufacturing contexts.
• Experience translating technical manuals, operating instructions, or similar documents.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring complex technical concepts are clearly communicated.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or engineering industries is a plus.

Position Details:

• Flexible schedule with 25-30 hours per week.
• 3-6 month contract with a pay rate of up to $30 per hour.
• Work on-site in Bartow, FL.
