Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead nutrition services in specialized areas, dedicating at least 70% of your efforts to specialties such as NICU, bariatric, renal, cardiac, diabetes, nutrition support, pediatrics, oncology, transplant, geriatrics, and outpatient services.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' nutritional statuses, ensuring accurate documentation in medical records.
  • Mentor and train staff and interns, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Implement innovative programs that promote optimal clinical nutrition and enhance financial outcomes.
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards, including those set by federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while maintaining patient confidentiality and rights.
  • Engage in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives, contributing to overall patient satisfaction.


Qualifications:

  • Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • State licensure as required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a relevant specialty area.
  • Specialty certification, when applicable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, electronic medical records, and nutrient analysis software.
