We are seeking an experienced RN-Resource Nurse to join our team at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA.
This is a 4-5 bed primary surgical nursing unit with subspecialties of general surgery, orthopedics, neurology, gynecology, urology, and vascular surgeries, along with interventional radiology procedures.
Our patient population is primarily elective surgical cases that we receive from the recovery room, ranging in age from pediatric to geriatric.
We provide basic arrhythmia detection via wireless telemetry for the surgical patient population, with an average length of stay of 3 days.
Responsibilities- Under the direction of the Director, Manager, Patient Care, or Designee, perform a variety of duties involving the coordination of both clinical and non-clinical care activities.
- Provide guidance, support, and coordinate orientation of all new staff members.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of three years clinical experience in an appropriate setting, i.e., Medical Surgical, Critical/Coronary Care, etc., is required.
- Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
USD $44.46 - USD $81.40 /Hr.
