Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Tidelands Health. As a Hospitalist Advanced Practitioner, you will work collaboratively with Hospitalist Physicians to provide comprehensive treatment services to patients of all ages. Your primary focus will be on ensuring clinical service delivery and patient flow within the framework of our Core Customer Service Values.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a wide range of treatment services to patients in collaboration with Hospitalist Physicians.
  • Ensure clinical service delivery and patient flow within the umbrella of Tidelands Health Core Customer Service Values.
  • Practice at two hospitals, approximately 22 miles apart, with about 125 beds each.
  • Shifts are primarily 7:00 AM-7:00 PM, seven days on and seven days off.
  • ICU coverage by critical care physicians and full specialty support from specialists at MUSC in Charleston.

Qualifications:

  • Master's/MSN degree, required.
  • At least 1 year minimum of NP/PA inpatient care experience, highly preferred.
  • 2 years of NP/PA inpatient care experience, preferred.
  • Current SC State License and in good standing to practice, required.
  • Current SC State DEA, required.
  • Current ACLS Certification, required.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare provider course with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required to be initially completed within 30 calendar days of hire date.
  • Proficient with PC's and Microsoft Office Software products, required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, required.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and walk; occasionally to use hands, fingers; and frequently to talk or hear. The employee must exert 20 to 35 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 15 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
