We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Operations Specialist to join our team at Frontier Cooperative in Tarnov, Nebraska.

About the Role

This full-time position involves maintenance and upkeep of grain and agronomy equipment, ensuring high-quality grain storage, and loading/unloading customer trucks with products. The successful candidate will also operate agricultural equipment as needed, deliver fertilizers and chemicals, and maintain a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patrons, customers, and employees, assisting with purchases and deliveries.
  • Control load-out functions, including blending and loading agronomy products, maintaining inventory quality, and operating tractors, machinery, forklifts, and other equipment.
  • Assist with warehouse and agricultural-related duties, performing routine building, grounds, vehicle, and equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Maintain a positive image of the cooperative, being dependable, adaptable, and customer-focused.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs., sit, stand, stoop, squat, crawl, walk, jog, run, climb tall ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery, load and unload bulk fertilizer and grain products, and work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Farming, grain-handling, and/or elevator experience is helpful but not necessary; willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver's License or Commercial Applicator's license is advantageous.
