Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering manufactured and finished goods to customer jobsites and unloading materials to the customer's satisfaction. This role requires a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Learn and understand company products, procedures, culture, and customer service expectations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Load trucks according to the list of materials on the sales order, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Organize and secure each load, ensuring it is properly tied down and ready for transport.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of loads, verifying with the yard manager prior to leaving the yard.
  • Deliver and unload materials to customer's jobsites, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Follow directions and make deliveries on a timely basis, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain inspection of each vehicle driven for safe operation, reporting any issues to the maintenance department.
  • Record delivery information on sales invoices and relay messages from customers to the sales team.
  • Safely drive trucks and forklifts, obeying all traffic laws and wearing a seatbelt at all times.
  • Follow all yard loading and delivery, and yard security procedures.
  • Capable of navigating digital platforms, including uploading pictures, E-Logs, and online platforms as directed.
  • Listen and work with customers to solve customer issues, providing a positive experience.
  • Housekeeping in the yard and areas assigned to, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ability to follow all CDL requirements as outlined by the DOT.
  • Ability to haul oversized loads, following all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Desire to learn and grow, with a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Ability to react quickly to problems and respond to them accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to stand/walk for 4 - 10 hours, with the ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
  • Ability to operate a computer and navigate digital platforms.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Class A driver's license with Manual Endorsement, current automobile insurance, and a good driving record.
  • Physical strength to lift and carry 50 pounds, with the ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch.
