Job Description:

Global Partners is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Associate to join our team. As a Food Service Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of sanitation, store appearance, and guest service in our deli and food service operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process cash register transactions, providing accurate change and refunds to customers.
  • Learn and operate various equipment, including registers, scales, scanners, and debit/credit terminals.
  • Manage deli ingredients, including meats, vegetables, fruits, spices, nuts, flavorings, sauces, and oils.
  • Ensure accurate product pricing, signage, and placement, as well as the use of product shelf tags and shelf signage.
  • Prepare, wrap, box, weigh, slice, and stock deli/food service products, rotating them as necessary to ensure product quality and safety.
  • Prepare and cook deli and food service items, including fried foods, salads, sandwiches, roller grill items, hot and cold beverages, prepared meals, and snack items.
  • Work safely around sharp slicers, tools, and hot ovens and burners.
  • Display products according to deli department and/or merchandising guidelines.
  • Take guest orders, ensuring orders are completed on time and to the guest's satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Flexibility to work weekend, holiday, and/or evening shifts and assist other locations as needed.
  • Must have 2 years of food service or retail management experience.
  • Must have reliable transportation and an active driver's license.
  • Serv-safe certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
