Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced CEI Senior Project Engineer to support our local projects within the Jacksonville, FL region.
Key Responsibilities
- Directing a highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program
- Planning and organizing the work of subordinate and staff members
- Developing and/or reviewing policies, methods, practices, and procedures
- Reviewing programs for conformance with Department standards
- Supports, oversees and coordinates engineering production activities for an operating unit
- Makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative
- Initiates and maintains contact with senior-level management within the company and is skilled in dispute resolution and negotiation of critical issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education, including 2 years of leadership
- Valid Drivers License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices
- Professional Engineer (PE) registered in the State of Florida Ability to obtain endorsement in the State of Florida within six months of Project NTP if registered in another state
Preferred Requirements
- FDOT Advanced MOT
- CTQP Quality Control Manager (Attend and pass the examination)
- Six years of engineering experience
- Two of those years involved in relevant transportation projects
- Master's Degree in Engineering
About the Role
This position does not provide relocation or sponsorship. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $140,000.00 - $220,000.00.
