About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Energy Auditor/Inspector to join our team at iCast. As a Trainee, you will support our Energy Auditing and Quality Control Inspection staff while gaining hands-on field experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in conducting Building Energy Audits in the field
  • Assess the energy performance of buildings
  • Learn to independently perform QA/QC Inspections for Energy Efficiency projects
  • Review MF building inspections to ensure they meet program requirements
  • Maintain accurate reporting for assigned projects
Requirements
  • Possess a degree or certification in Energy Auditing or building Quality Control Inspections or 1 year of experience in an Energy Auditor or Inspector role
  • BPI MF Energy Auditor Certification or Functional Knowledge of Energy Auditing principles
  • Weatherization Program (WAP) QCI knowledge
  • Proficiency with M365 Suit of Products (special focus on MS Excel)
  • Firm understanding of HVAC systems in buildings, especially multifamily
  • Understanding of Healthy Homes assessments
  • Strong skills in communication, documentation, and attention to detail
