LifeVest Technician

Job Overview
ZOLL, the leading manufacturer of wearable defibrillators, is seeking a skilled LifeVest Technician to train patients on the use of the LifeVest. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to work remotely and choose your own assignments.

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals with patient care experience to supplement their income. You will be responsible for setting up equipment, training patients and caregivers, and following up with them as needed to ensure understanding and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
• Manage equipment and garment inventory
• Contact caregivers and family to schedule fittings
• Conduct evening and weekend activities as required
• Travel to patient's homes for fittings or follow-up visits
• Program equipment according to physician orders
• Train patients and other caregivers in the use of the LifeVest
• Have patients sign a Patient Agreement and WEAR Checklist
• Fax signed documents to ZOLL within 24 hours

Qualifications
• 1 year of patient care experience (professional, not family caregiver)
• Experience must be documented on resume
• Willingness to undergo background checks
• Valid driver's license and car insurance

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $60,000-$80,000 depending on experience and location.
