Waste Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Custodian Solid Waste Collector. As a key member of our environmental services team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our Snowshoe Village and business units.

• Inspect and maintain compactors, ensuring they are operational, clean, and emptied as needed.
• Manage trash and recycling collection, including special recyclables and hazardous waste.
• Coordinate with Pocahontas Recycle and handle special waste needs.
• Report equipment defects and maintain cleanliness.
• Participate in training and contribute to team efforts.

• Valid Driver's license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program.
• Ability to move a pull trailer attached to a pickup and operate a standard shift truck.
• Knowledge of Snowshoe Mountain and location of departments is helpful.
