Job Description

Under the supervision of the Parts Manager, this position is responsible for delivering and picking up parts and supplies within the Des Moines metro area and statewide Iowa. The successful candidate will perform all duties while maintaining adherence to our six core values.

  • Pickup and delivery of parts and supplies for customers and vendors.
  • Pickup and delivery of parts and supplies around the campus as needed.
  • Completes a log at the time of delivery/pickup and requests recipient's signature for parts delivery.
  • Reviews invoices for parts delivery for correct payment method and ensures collection and remittance to the dealership.
  • Demonstrates safe and courteous driving skills at all times.
  • Complete bi-annual hazardous material certifications/training requirements.
  • Communicates work accomplishments and activities to supervisor on a regular basis.
  • Assists in maintaining the professional appearance of the parts department.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Valid Iowa driver's license.
  • Acceptable driving record in accordance with insurance provider.
  • Must be able to have off-premise driving privileges.
  • Ability to operate vehicles both manual and standard transmissions.
  • Must be familiar with Des Moines metro, surrounding communities and statewide Iowa.
