We are seeking a qualified Neurologist specializing in headache management to contribute to the mission of the Department of Veteran Affairs.
This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at delivering high-quality neurological care:
- Deliver thorough patient care services for individuals experiencing neurological disorders in both outpatient and inpatient environments.
- Participate in the inpatient neurology ward and consultative services, supervising residents and students, while also being available for clinical care and oversight, including weekend duties.
- Oversee Headache clinics and specialized intervention services, including administering Botulinum toxin treatments for headache relief.
- Independently manage an outpatient headache clinic.
- Exhibit strong collaborative skills within a large healthcare organization, working across various departments.
- Engage in clinical research initiatives and academic projects in partnership with the VA and associated academic institutions.
- Possibility of participating in telehealth services with Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (On-Call duties required).
