About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Renal Diabetes team as a Charge Nurse. This is a full-time night shift position at Saint Thomas West in Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership to ensure implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care.
  • Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
  • Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
  • Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the Tennessee Board of Nursing required.
  • 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience required.
