Position Summary:

The HVAC Systems Support Specialist is responsible for delivering technical guidance and training focused on HVAC-related products. This role acts as a technical resource for both internal teams and external partners across multiple product categories. The primary function is to offer technical assistance to field technicians working with our clients. This vital segment of our operations supports both Residential and Commercial product lines. In addition to providing support via phone, on-site visits with dealers will be necessary to aid in resolving issues. Additional responsibilities include managing customer relations, addressing special warranty matters, and delivering technical training to our dealer network. Furthermore, this position will also assist internal stakeholders as required to facilitate sales and manage post-sale inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver remote technical support and troubleshooting assistance for product installation and service inquiries through phone, remote assistance tools, or email.
  • Provide system-level technical support to both internal and external clients.
  • Manage technical inquiries from contractors, offering assistance and collaborating with manufacturers.
  • Develop and implement training programs for contractors and internal staff.
  • Engage in technical sales efforts to convert contractors to our equipment brands.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for contractors, delivering HVAC equipment product support with exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current company product lines, including their installation and service practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the HVAC sector with comprehensive knowledge of system design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience in providing technical assistance to customers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems using technical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and writing abilities.
  • Commitment to enhancing customer experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Licensed HVAC technician.
  • Familiarity with sealants, plumbing, electrical systems, and general construction practices.
Work Environment:

Office Setting:

While performing the duties of this role, the employee will primarily work in an office environment. Occasionally, exposure to a warehouse setting may occur, requiring appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). The physical and mental demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully execute the essential functions of this position.
