About the Role
We are seeking skilled Substation Design Engineers for immediate openings in various locations throughout the country. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and implementing new, upgraded, and expanded substations, including material procurement, construction, and commissioning/startup support through energization.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver detailed physical, electrical, civil, and communication design studies, calculations, drawings, exhibits, and specifications under the guidance of a project engineer
- Collaborate with designers, drafters, and support staff to execute best-in-class projects, ensuring coordination, quality control, and oversight
- Coordinate with subject matter expert discipline groups for specialized tasks, including distribution studies, transmission studies, grounding studies, protection, civil engineering, communication, and transmission & distribution engineering

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering required; design engineering experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organization and planning skills; ability to work in a team environment; commitment to quality and accuracy
- Fundamental knowledge of power engineering principles and applicable codes and standards
