Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at Hospitality Specialists, Inc. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction by attending to the needs of guests in an efficient and courteous way during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be flexible with your work schedule.
- Report to work on time, dressed in proper attire and uniform, including name tag.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
- Handle all duties according to hotel policies, procedures, internal rules, and standards.
- Conform to cash handling procedures at all times.
- Stay knowledgeable about daily hotel operations, changes, new procedures, and events.
- Be aware of current guest service scores and understand guest comments and needs.
- Operate hotel reservations software efficiently.
- Perform guest registration and room assignment, accommodating special requests.
- Be familiar with brand-specific reward programs and frequent traveler programs.
- Answer phones according to etiquette standards and respond promptly.
- Know policies and procedures for safe deposit boxes.
- Ensure the front desk and back office areas are clean at all times.
- Utilize spare time for cleaning lobby, entrances, public restrooms, and other areas as needed.
- Assist guests with problems and questions, resolving issues using brand-specific guidelines.
- Collaborate with fellow associates to improve daily hotel operations.
- Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures and know how to act on them.
- Provide guests with information about the city, local area, and attractions.
- Lock the bank securely when leaving the front desk area.
- Report unusual occurrences or requests to the manager.
- Greet guests immediately, offer assistance, and focus on their needs.
- Use the AM, PM, and night audit daily checklist to ensure smooth operations.
