Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Ivory Medical is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Tech for an allied health travel assignment in a reputable healthcare facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluations and treatment by attending physicians.
Opportunity Specifics:
- Contract Type: Ultrasound Tech
- Setting: Inpatient Hospital
- Shift Availability: Days 7:30a - 4P (M-F 40 hrs/wk)
- EMR: Medhost
- Will share call during week with 2 other Techs and take call on weekends every 3rd week
- Covers - General, OBGYN, Vascular, Carotid, Abdominal
Candidate Requirements:
- Graduate of an AMA approved Allied Health program
- Registration by the A.A.R.T. and state licensed
- Current CPR Certification
- Previous experience in ultrasound technology preferred
Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluations and treatment by attending physician.
- Must be able to work independently, as well as, in a team environment.

- Must have excellent planning, coordinating, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent technical ability and interpersonal communication skills.
