Security Officer Job Summary

At SpringHill Suites Fairbanks, we are seeking a highly visible and vigilant Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our guests, associates, and physical assets during the 3rd shift. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting rounds, inspecting public spaces and guestroom hallways, and maintaining a strong presence throughout the hotel.

Responsibilities:
  • Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance and comply with standards for safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Use proper two-way radio etiquette and maintain visual contact with the Front Desk/Night Auditor.
  • Investigate incidents, respond to complaints, and provide escort services as needed.
  • Administer First Aid/CPR and complete Incident/Accident Reports in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements:
  • Ability to climb and descend stairways, exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and stand during entire shift.
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly, evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately, and work well in stressful situations.
