PURPOSE: Responsible for the thorough cleaning and replenishment of all assigned guest rooms while adhering to established housekeeping protocols and safety regulations to guarantee guest satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 1. Maintain cleanliness of guest accommodations and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies in accordance with safety and security standards.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Disposing of waste
  • Changing linens and making beds
  • Sanitizing bathrooms
  • Dusting and sweeping guest rooms
  • Washing windows and cleaning balconies (80%)
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or Room Attendant
2. Organize, replenish, and store housekeeping carts following established safety and security protocols. (5%) 3. Receive designated sections, keys, supplies, and any priority room requests from the Executive Housekeeper or Room Attendant. Return keys and unused supplies at the end of the shift. (5%) 4. Address guest inquiries and report any issues or complaints in a courteous manner to ensure guest satisfaction. (5%) 5. Notify the Executive Housekeeper or Room Attendant of any lost items, damages, or mechanical issues and return items left in rooms. (3%)

Job Specifications (Knowledge/Skills):
Education: No formal education required
Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping preferred
Skills and Abilities: Ability to clean rooms effectively during an eight-hour shift; Basic communication skills in English; Self-motivated with a positive attitude; Capability to meet appearance standards; Ability to interact with guests professionally.
