Under the supervision of the Supervising Workers' Compensation Consultant Officer (SWCCO), the incumbent performs a variety of technical and professional duties of average difficulty relating to the Audit and Enforcement Unit. The incumbent prepares and organizes reports for audit files submitted into the Electronic Adjudication Management System to complete a high volume of tasks for the Audit and Enforcement Unit.
The incumbent must be able to maintain appropriate confidentiality at all times due to the nature of the work performed. Additionally, the incumbent must be dependable and have the ability to work cooperatively with staff at all levels both within and outside the Department. The incumbent must have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to complete work assignments. The incumbent must have good work habits such as punctuality and organizational skills.
Working ConditionsThis position is located at the Department of Industrial Relations. The incumbent works in a cubicle environment in an office setting with artificial light and temperature control. The incumbent is required to work extensively on the computer as necessary for email communication, research, drafting policy and procedure documents, and other purposes. The building is a high-rise building and the office is located on the 9th floor. This position is a full-time in-person office-only position. This position is not a telework position.
