The Role

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations. As a key member of our team, you'll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facilities and production equipment in a safe and orderly fashion, as directed by the maintenance shift leader.

Your Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex problems on plant facilities and production equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
  • Assist in implementing and improving effective preventive maintenance programs for all equipment, performing scheduled maintenance as required.
  • Maintain and update equipment records, schematics, blueprints, and files in an organized manner.
  • Participate in training and professional development to stay current on maintenance and safety requirements.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA, NEC, JIC, and DNR standards and regulations.
  • Follow MRO crib procedures to maintain department part stock and inventory.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Automation Mechanic preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of automated systems and machinery.
  • Ability to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in the construction trades.
  • Ability to handle hazardous materials safely and tolerate exposure to electrical and other environmental hazards.
  • Programming and troubleshooting knowledge of PLCs and robots.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to develop and guide maintenance apprentices.
  • High integrity and honesty.
  • Ability to work with vendors and contractors, demonstrating company values.
  • Ability to work with all shifts to design and develop improving methods and equipment.
  • Ability to obtain and hold a boom/scissor lift license.
