Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Room Inspector conducts inspections to ensure compliance with all standards of guest satisfaction, cleanliness, sanitation, and productivity set by the Resort. This role is responsible for working all scheduled shifts, ensuring the safe keeping of Guests' Personal Property, and performing unit inspections to meet cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance standards prior to guest occupancy.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular room inspections to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance standards are met
Ensure the safe keeping of Guests' Personal Property while working within their lodging unit
Perform general cleaning tasks, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, scrubbing floors, spotting carpets, cleaning fireplaces, vacuuming all living areas, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and spot cleaning windows
Document and notify housekeeping leadership of any severe cleaning deficiencies in the units
Assist with associate training, including follow-up training as needed with regard to any recorded deficiencies

Requirements:

Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in housekeeping experience in rooms preferred
Must be able to work well under pressure and accurately follow instructions (verbally and written)

Responsibilities:

~ Responsible for working all scheduled shifts;

Ensure the safe keeping of Guests Personal Property while working within their lodging unit by showing Integrity and Honesty at all times;
Perform unit inspections ensuring all meet cleanliness, sanitation and maintenance standards prior to guest occupancy. Make small corrections as needed in lodging units to bring them to required standards;

Update the housekeeping coordinator when units are clean, up to standards and ready for guest occupancy.

Document and notify housekeeping coordinator of any engineering concerns in the units and enter into Hotsos if applicable;
Document and notify housekeeping leadership of any severe cleaning deficiencies in the units;
Assist with associate training, including follow-up training as needed with regard to any recorded deficiencies;
General cleaning tasks (making beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, scrubbing floors, spotting carpets, cleaning fireplaces, vacuuming all living areas, sweeping, mopping, dusting, spot cleaning windows and checking outside trash areas) may be assigned during peak occupancy days at the resort;
General cleaning tasks may be assigned in areas including: Condos, Health and Fitness Centers, Recreational facilities, Public Spaces, Spa and freestanding homes throughout Suncadia Resort;
Understand and abide by all Suncadia policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
