Job Summary:
MUSC seeks a skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join its team. As a key member of the sleep lab, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including reviewing medical histories and performing age-specific needs assessments.
- Safely operate advanced medical equipment to record sleep patterns and other physiological data.
- Recognize and respond to sleep pathology, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the study.
- Generate high-quality reports summarizing patient sleep patterns, cardiac events, respiratory events, and other relevant data.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans for patients suffering from sleep disorders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Current licensure as a Polysomnographic Technologist by the Board of Polysomnographic Technologists.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, either through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
