Key Responsibilities- Delivering compassionate nursing care in post-acute settings
- Monitoring patients' physical and mental health, including vital signs
- Conducting patient intakes and documenting medical histories and concerns
- Assisting with medication administration and verification
- Creating a safe and comfortable environment for patients
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
- Supporting the setup of IVs, immunizations, and phlebotomy tasks
- Managing medical supplies and ensuring proper inventory
- Adhering to patient care plans and protocols
- Collaborating with team members to orient and train new staff
- Current state license to practice as a Practical Nursing Specialist
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing educational program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 months of experience in a nursing or related role
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
