About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Veterinarian to lead our animal care services in Anchorage. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with our team to ensure exceptional outcomes. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and other small mammals.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a highly competitive salary range of $130,000 to $140,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive a monthly production bonus of 21-23% based on your performance. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including full health care, life insurance, mental health services, pet benefits, and more.
Job Description
As a Veterinarian Specialist at National Veterinary Associates, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality patient care, including medical exams, surgeries, and treatments.
- Working closely with our team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Collaborating with our veterinarians and support staff to ensure seamless communication and care.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest veterinary research and best practices.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- At least 2 years of experience as a veterinarian, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Strong clinical skills, with a focus on compassion, empathy, and effective communication.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
