Position Overview:
The Senior Admissions Recruiter plays a crucial role in providing exceptional support to prospective students interested in exploring, applying to, and enrolling in programs at Creighton University’s School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. This position is dedicated to fostering relationships that facilitate the recruitment, admission, and enrollment of new students, guiding them through the enrollment process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit students for various programs within the School, ensuring a thorough understanding of application criteria for each pathway.
- Act as a representative at both internal and external events, engaging in outreach activities that may extend beyond the local area.
- Maintain communication with prospective students through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and written correspondence, assisting them in completing their application files.
- Coordinate and facilitate admission interview days, collaborating with faculty and student ambassadors to ensure a seamless experience for applicants.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred or in progress.
- 1-3 years of experience in admissions, recruitment, advising, or counseling is essential.
Skills and Competencies:
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with prospective students.
- Proficient presentation skills and knowledge of admissions terminology and policies.
- Understanding of transfer credit policies and the ability to evaluate transcripts efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and mission-driven approach.
